hey guys, alright i got a 99 SE-L, NOT loaded...no Bose, no Sunroof, no keyless entry, no power seats, and no leather...BUT, i do have a red LED security light blinking....and what would that be?? is that of any use?, do i or do i not have a stock security system??

i got remote entry, trunk etc but no security

Why dont you find someone with a remote and try to programm it for your car?

 

I'm not sure. You don't have a remote Right? try this: get in your car, turn the igniton on, (not the engine) roll down one of your windows, turn ignition off and get out of car with window still down and key in hand. After about 30 seconds your red light should switch from steady to blinking. Once this happens, reach through the window and unlock the door. DOES the alarm go off?

 

yeah ill try when the car comes...its not home right now, so ill try it later...i dont have a remote..but it is the stock red LED, the ones that come with the car...
