I've got a apex-i ws on the way, if it ever gets here. Hopefully it will not be very loud with a y-pipe and cai.

I have had the Greddy for about 8 months. It looks really sharp, but it does get a little loud, especially when I added the Y-pipe, if you don't mind the constant humming then go for it.

I've had the Apexi for about a month now and I love it. It has a lot more of a reserved sound than the stillen muffeler that I had on the car.

Power feels a lot better too, but I haven't been to the track with it just yet.

i thought that once you get a y-pipe it starts to get loud cause you get rid of the pre-cats and once you put on a cat-back system, you get rid of the resonator. so the only thing let thats kinda keeping the noise down would be???the catalitic converter???
i dont know cause i like it loud!
just my 2cents

Greddy has been known for delivering one of the deepest, nicest sound out there. I'm getting the SP exhaust, without the cat-back. That way it won't be too loud, but will still have that sweet low grumble.

Go Greddy.

I've heard a Greddy.....

and they sound pretty good but can sound a little uneven sort of. I think it sounds close to my Stillen I bought from ejj5875 (thanks, man) and I really like the way it sounds. It has a little more even note than the Greddy.

If you go cat-back, you should add like a straight through silencer muffler to your b-pipe. It makes a big difference if things get too loud. I've noticed that Courtesy and Stillen b-pipes do not have them so that is why people say adding a b-pipe makes the exhaust louder.

Yeah, I like it a lot. Did you not like it? I admit that it is on the boarder line of being too loud for some but I tend to want to hear my exhaust. I think it is one of those things that comes with the territory of using a performance muffler. But it definitely does not sound ricey because I met up with some friends with Hondas and Acuras, the Stillen does not sound like theirs.

How long has it been used? I ask because it was in pretty damn good shape for something used.

I loved it, but I got such a great deal on the Apexi WS, I couldn't pass it up!

I used it for about a year. MardiGrasMax had it before me, and I don't know how long he used it.

Just curious, is te Apexi one a lot quieter than the Stillen? I don't care really but just curious of how people complain about the Stillen being too loud.

Yeah. Its a lot quiter and a more subtle tone. I like it.

There is NO drone with the Apexi, while the stillen, as I'm sure you know, has one.

I can't imagine what the stillen would sound like with an aftermarket B-Pipe.
