does mod your intake, exhaust, and header helps?

by changing your intake, exhaust, and header to bigger ones help you gain Hp? or it damngae your engine? Can anyone tell me what's the best combination of the intake, exhaust and header to get so i'll get more power without hurting my engine. I have a 96 maxima GLE

This has been discussed to death. A intake will help(a little), an exhaust(a little more), notably a Y pipe will help. Headers WILL NOT help, ours are as efficient as they come.

don't forget about all those performance stickers, i think they add about 5hp each...........

the big ones add 10-100hp each,

Actually all mods are worthless!
No matter what you do your car will be the same!
Mods just give you something to brag about!
You can try to put those things on but you wont tell a difference...I promise!

hehehe than i think i'll spend that money on my audio system. I'll take our the bose system and put a clarion headunit on it.

It's sounds like you should join SMC. BTW while I can understand your perspective{kinda}, it is not really true. Yes mods help but lots of times it's hard to notice the gains with the but dyno. Once you add lots of mods and then drive a stock max{I30 4 me} back to back you really notice the difference, I know I do.

If you want real power, get a Super charger, it blows away all the other bolt on's in terms of perforamance.

once again we dont have aftermarket headers, well unless u include those ones from new zealand that cost a ton and give ya a whole 2 hp if that much

I almost don't have the heart to tell you, but the headunit in Bose equipped Maxima's IS a Clarion head unit.
