Any developments in the 4th -> 5th gen intake manifold swap?

In my quest to hit the 13s (.6 seconds away!), I stumbled upon this thread http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....+manifold+swap lotsa good information. Question is, after July, it was like I never heard a single word about it. Any new developments??

Im quite baffled. Then what is the thing that sits on top of the intake runners that opens up at about 5.5k and feels like the car has a very small turbo somewhere. I have a vq25de in my cefiro, I will take a look at someones engine pic to see if its the same setup

A is a plastic cover.

B is the chamber thing that I as talking about. PS, this isn't my engine (138 hp of 2 litre power) I have the 2.5 160 hp
