Motor swap...its ALIVE.....sorta kinda somewhat

we took care of that coolant leak and fired up the motor. Lots of lil bugs need to work out still. valves are making alot of noise....sucks. got some exhaust leaks but thats no prob. My Coolant temp sensor for the fan fried too so i have to get one tomorrow...Then gotta tune the AFC and AVC-R. I guess not gonna be ready for the race this sunday. HOpefully can work out these probs and then ill post more impressions.

Solid lifters? Wow... Where do you find those or did you fabricate them? Whats the advantage?

I know when I build my motor the VTC's are going to find a home.... in my garbage can!! TTZ cams/TTZ pistons/TTZ injectors/JWT ECU Also considering throwing the batt. in the trunk and putting the (bigger)turbo there.

I jsut wanted to say I love driving my car vrroooom/whoosh(squeal)/*pshhhh.... vroom/whoosh(squeal)/*pshhhhh

Everybody should turbo their Maxima.

do you have to do that one cool down thing before shutting your engine off when you park your car?

I just drive easy the last mile or so before I get to where I am going to park and then I just shut it off. I think turbo timers are more gimmick than anything, and the only time that they would have a purpose is if you had just run your car real hard and then shut it down. The whole purpose is to circulate oil through the turbo if its real hot, but just drive normally the last couple miles and you're fine.
