I just bought clear tail light from this one guy. And I was wondering about if clear tail light is legal to put it on the car. (I'm in WA) Or do i have to paint them to red/clear? help me out here guys.

 

It's illegal. You have to put in red bulbs, but it's still illegal. Somefolks get the catz led bulbs, looks better and you don't get rearended as much, but still illegal. Take em apart and paint them red. It looks better too.

 

Just paint them red... looks a grillion times better anyway.

If you really want them clear, I'd suggest not doing it. If you get rearended insurance will pay you thiiiiiiiis much.......$0.01

where did you get your clear tails from? How much did you pay? where they custom built for you as I thought you could not buy them pre-made?
