Car Wash damaged my Rims

On Friday I took my car to the car wash. After coming home I discovered that my rims were scratched. I went back to the car wash and talked to the manager, and all he offered me was a few free car washes and gave me the owner's business card. I'm supposed to call him on Tuesday.

Has anyone else had this type of problem? How do you recommend I approach the owner? Thanks.

what kind of carwash is it...like a due it your self or a full service joint? If its one that has rails to guide your car trough you should have paid more attension i know my wheels are too wide to clear those things. Since you left and came back prob woun't get anything. Be nice hope they give you 200 dollers worth of car wash.

Why? So he can scratch his rims 200 more times?

A lot of times car washes have diclaimers posted up stating that they are not responsible for any damages to your car. The owner may use that point.

Could have been the brushes they use for the side of the car. I would never go into one of those things. Gotta wash my baby by hand
