Atten Greddy Evolution Catback Exhaust Owners

If you have a 5th gen with a Greddy Evolution Catback Exhaust installed on your car with a Y-Pipe and intake please post some sound files of your exhaust or a couple of short videos of reving it up. That would be wicked for sure. I'll even give you $5.00 towards a dyno too!

I pull much better at top now. Stillen was just the muffler, so the restrictive b-pipe was still there. Now, I have 2.5" throughout the exhaust... going to wrap the cat-back with exhaust wrap to make my gas velocity quicker (compared to not wrapping). The fiberglass stuff is going to make me itch again (make me itch like crazy when I did the y-pipe).

Nice, what is the stuff that you wrap your exhaust with called. Does it make you faster by giving you a higher gas velocity?? I have not heard of this before. I wrapped my y-pipe with header rap but thats about it.

Awesome! Can you make some quality sound files again outside of the car and inside. Some pics would be cool too! I will contribute $5.00 towards your dyno just cuz I wanna see what that thing dynos at. It really won't help me with the actual Greddy gains though. How much for the Stillen Muff?

Header wrap... exhaust wrap... does the same thing. You can get anything that will withstand 1000 degree C (continuous). Your exhaust gas will never reach that temp anyway (or you'd be melting your pistons and breaking other stuff). Before the wrap, the EGT would show the temp decreasing rapidly. After the wrap, the temp is pretty constant. Yes, the faster the gas exits, the better it is (performance-wise).

oooooooh, something to make me faster, I like. Hey do you think i should get one of those warning EGT guages, or the non warning one. I am thinking about the warning one because it can tell you when you are running to lean.

Definitely one with a warning light. I've hit the warning mark a few times already. Had it set at 760, then upped it to 780, finally have it at 800.

Vic Hubbard (local speed shop). 2" wide (50 ft) for about $50.

I'm sure you can find some at Summit Racing or Nopi.

153MPH? You got boost? Where did you find the perfomance gains after you installed the Greddy? Off the line, mid range, top end? Those videos and sound clips are going to be wicked! Can't wait to see/hear your post!

Get yourself a custom B-pipe to the HKS and I'm sure you will get a little more power. Your ride is going to be tight when those rims and brakes go on. Damn I hate winter!!

Nope, i did it before i had the jetchip and greddy. The greddy really gave me more high end power, highway and high rpm's etc. The sound and video clips should be up this weekend.

No the only ones that will fit are these domed ones and the only color they make them in is bronze. Tony has them, but I am not sure if I want to get them.

is she running larger diameter piping than yours?
4th gen always sound louder than 5th gens..from my own experiences at least...

like Dennis' car and mine. his car was always louder than mine even when he only had an intake..

Maybe the RT cat is affecting the noise.
