how come starter motor & strut bearing probs aren't fixed by Nissan?

Just wondering

If the starter motor and front strut bearing grease drying out is so common (or so from what I've read & heard), how come Nissan doesn't offer to cover it (at least partially)?

I personally don't care about the starter motor grease issue (it's a DIY), but the strut bearing requires a front-end alignment .. extra $$$

Guess I'll just wait til my struts RIP, and I'll get my alignment done then along with new front struts & bearings

Haha. Good luck. Try the 3-gen VE's VTC assembies. It's well known and replacement is over $1800. I don't think you have a chance w/ the strut bearings.

Nissan is more concerned about the law and marketing departments rather than quality issues
