do your se max's have a speedlimiter at131mph? with 16 or 17 inch tires stock???

 

I never had it up that high, but a few guys have gotten their autos past that mark

 

It all depends...sometimes, I couldnt even get over 100mph, sometimes, I could get upto 120mph with 5 people in the car......

I think the weather and air pressure does effect the cars performance/.

 

Ive had mine upto about 140mph on the Dulles Toll Road here in DC. But thinking that my tires are throwing off the speedo about 2.1% I was going 137mph actually.

135 for me done it more than once too.... in answer to ur ? about the speed limiter u cant or u can wait for jim wolf to quit playing with their ***** and hurry up and get past the 4th gen ecu!! when they have it im sure it will be a significant difference esp a higher red line and no speed limiter! thats what i am waiting for! good luck and if anyone knows another way i am listening!

 

Is 130 mph not fast enough for you?

 

no, weather doesnt give you a diffrence between 100mph, which hell, is easy, and i dont see why you have a problem hitting 100mph. but will make a difference at 130-140mph.

 

Dude, you've got a sweet car. second, my AE has done 135 on several/many occasions. I can never seem to get past that, I was told it is because of my spoiler and wind deflector: But at 100 SusieQ is not even breathing hard yet!

 

Yeah I got 17" tires. But what I dont seem to understand is how you got a limiter? I dont think they came with speed limiters at 100mph. There must be something wrong.

windows up, me and a friend in the car w/ my current mods i've gotten the car upto 134 mph but it defenitely had more in it...i kept running into traffic (not literally) so i had to stop (hence the new brakes)...i think i remember being around 5krpm roughly...one time i raced a benz 320slk(?) the hardtop conv. with the top down and had my front 2 windows down...i kept pulling on it until 120 mph roughly until my car would just stop accelerating...i looked at my rpms and they were around like 3k or so...it was rediculous...then the benz just kept going and wound up beating me...****ed me off...so 120 was my max w/ the front 2 windows down

i have new tires but the stock 17" wheels

 

I know how. I removed the limiter from my 4th gen...
