Wrecked My Max :-(

I never thought I would say this, but today I wrecked my baby. For those who know the Washington D.C. suburbs I was traveling down the upper end of Shady Grove Road (near Piney Meetinghouse) when something jumped out in front of me. There were rocks on the road, I slammed on my brakes and did a 540 and then slid off the road into some trees. I'm perfectly fine, no scratches, but a little shaken up. The max on the other hand... not so good. I forgot my digicam at home, but here is a pretty basic verbal picture. The front bumper is torn on the drivers side, the corner light is gone, the fender is dented, the brake line on the drivers side is torn, the passenger side door is banged up pretty good, as well as the passenger side fender. The car starts right up and idles well, but looks can be deceiving. This is really a testament to how good this car was built. I'll give you guys an update when more info becomes available.

ouch! Sorry to hear about that. At least you are okay, even though your ride isn't. If the car ends up totalled there's been a few threads in the past weeks or so dealing with your options, so find it if you can. Good luck.

And one of those options would be...

selling the parts of your baby to your fellow maxima enthusiasts incase u junk it.
oh yea, sorry to hear about your max, it was just a thought I hope you'll get your baby up and running better than before. It's nothing a few grand can't fix, think of it as another project!

Enjoy the ride while it lasts.

But seriously, I had a small accident and I was gutted.

Here's an update

My max is totaled , so i am thinking of parting it out. Please let me know if any of you guys are interested in any of the following:

Rear center Maxima reflector
Both rear tail lights
All of my leather seats (there in really, really good condition)
And basically any interior part (door panels etc...)

I'm about 99.9% sure I will be parting it out, so all of this is still preliminary, I'll have a better idea of what's going on tommorow afternoon.

If you have a question on a specific part e-mail me @ Nismo427@hotmail.com

I need to know by Friday morning.

I could really use the two plastic splash shields that are under the engine, if they survived. Email me with a price! daves@nci2000.net
Thanks.

Thanks.

I'll have to double check on Friday when I go to see my car again, but i'm pretty sure they didn't survive. I'll let you know for sure by Friday afternoon.

Sorry Guys

Actually, after going over all my options again, I have decided to sell the car to a junkyard. So I will not be parting it out. Sorry.
