ATTN: 95-96 w/CAI

What did you guys use to secure your ambient sensor in your CAI piping? Just curious Im trying to find the best fix...for know it's zip tied securely but I want to get it in there....

Use the stock screws,

they should fit. You may have to redrill a little bit if its slightly off. Make sure you use lock tight so those screws never fall out and that plate on the inside doesn't get sucked down the throttle body and kill your max.

Ok thanks..i was in Murray's yesteday and couldn't find loctite for the life of me...where is a good place to find such a applicant

BRIGBOY is right. The holes were slightly off a bit. I used a reamer to widen the hole. I did use the lock tight, but I also put some high temp silicone on the plate to hold it in place. I wanted to make sure if the screws got lose the plate would not be sucked in.

Pep boys..

...ur local autostore has to have it. Sears has it.

I put mad silicone on the outside to prevent any leaks, and the tiniest bit on the inside between the plate and the pipe wall.
