Need some people's opinion

Alright...I really want to get some serious power out of my Maxima...BUT I just don't have that much money right now. I know that of course the best mod out there is the Cattman headers...however they are $850, well the Nissan Works Phenolic Spacers kit seems like it would be good and along with a tune should yield some good hp gains. So my question is do you think I should just save up and wait for a long time for Cattman headers or just get the Spacers and an SAFC-2/VAFC-2 for cheaper and then down the road after saving up some money get the headers???

Buy a nitrous kit, they are what like 400-500 bucks, the stuff is dirt cheap!

If you can get on the NYCmaximas.org spacer group buy, it'll only be $200 shipped. With just spacers you don't need a piggyback or a tune.

I know that you don't need a piggyback...I'm just saying that the piggyback's usually have good gains and combined with the spacers I think it would be a good matchup for the headers for cheaper. Also on the nitrous...I would but I want my power to be there all the time.

I may sound really stupid but what do the spacers have to do with a tune ( i mean yeah tuning a car is great), the spacers just make the engine cooler why would you need to tune the a/f ratio after that?

I decided to keep the Maxima...oh and just to clarify...I KNOW THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TUNE WITH SPACERS!!! But an SAFC-2 has been proven to give about 8-10whp alone...and the spacers are around 10whp.

the shipping address must be a NY or NJ address

this is the route I was gonna take before my HS headers ----> cattman ypipe (7-10whp is better than nothing) and spacers. Thats around $600 right there and you can get good power. Those combined with a full catback exhuast should make you happy. But I got HS headers and I regret it..wish I had taken the other route I mentioned.

edit: Also a vafc2 couldnt hurt either esp. with the ypipe.

I’m sure there are MANY members that would GLADLY, in a heartbeat take those off your hands. Especially A34 people.

Then think elsewhere. You have to pay to play. Do whatever your wallet will allow.

Umm...actually maxspeed96ct gained 10whp with just an intake and an
SAFC-2 so I am not being ricerish...

That's my question...do you think I should save up or just pay the lighter amount and get some power now...
