I took forever to finish the retrofit. I am almost done now.

My retrofit: R34 headlights with TSX projectors

Currently, I am running on E55 bi-xenons with a wire harness that p00tang supplied me long time ago.

I know if I am putting the R34's in, I would need to change my current wiring setup. I'm not too sure on how to wire up the high beams.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the retrofitted R34s or a picture of some sort that I can follow to wire them up?

The only difference for me was that the low beam was actually the high beam and the middle pin was the low beam. Dunno why, but took me ~2 hours to figure that out..

 

That seems a lot more complicated than I thought. The wire that I have no powers both sides with 1 relay.

When you high beam, does your low beams stay on?

 

Yeah...it does. Didn't think of that when I did the harness. I have to add a relay and attach it to the parking lights or something, so the low beam won't turn on when I want to high beam. In the mean time, I've been restraining myself from high beaming...

That's just a crappy drawing that should've been done as an actual electrical drawing.. I'll bet if you studied that thing and redrew it, it would only take about a half an hour but would ensure no mistakes..

 

Lol, I'm sure other people have done nicer drawings, not sure where they are though. I've seen neater bi-xenon drawings, but not single xenon ones.
