headers vs exhaust manifold

i have some broken manifold studs at the rear. fixing it is 280 dollars at a local shop i know. in that case if i change the stock exhaust manifold to pacesetter headers.. will that eliminate the problem? it's cheaper! well tell me about it cause i'm pretty noob =P

Even if you get pacesetter headers, you will still have to drill out the broken studs. Pacesetter header quality is shady at best.

Fix the broken studs, stick with the stock manifold. If you want more performance, go with a Y-Pipe.

stay away from the pacesetter headers. they're junk.

pick up an aftermarket Y pipe and have it installed while you're having the exhaust studs replaced. should put it on for free since they have to pull it off anyway during the repairs.

You are not in any position to flame anyone in here about not knowing something about cars.

BTW,Nforce has not yet received a dime from you from the damage you caused to his car, don't you think it's time you man up and pay him something?,it has now been 5 months since the swap incident.
