VQ35 heads on VQ30DEK ?

I'm wondering if there is a way to fit the VQ35 heads on the VQ30DEK engine ? Cosworth is making some nice flowing head for the VQ35.

I've never worked on a VQ35 so that is why I'm asking this question ! so what's wrong with that ? As far as I'm concern my engine has never been boost yet so I think I've asked my question on the right forum.

no...the "all motor forum" is the correct place

and do some research...every question a person has does not require a new thread

That questions just came from the spure of the moment... I would have normally search.

I have posted only 2637 threads since I've join the forum in october 2000, I've posted much less threads than many org members but I'd probably read 10 times more...

If I understand correctly the VQ35 heads will lower the compression when coupled with the VQ30DEK block, euhm that sounds interesting, so basically I could skip the Arias piston and just slap in some VQ35 heads and bang the compression is down to ( let me guess 9:5:1 or close to that ) so it make a perfect engine to boost to 350-400hp right.

Does my thinking make sense ?

Finally I'm staying with the VQ30DEK heads, once they will be P&P with the LIM & UIM along with the build engine and all the mods with FI, this engine will be screaming... Hopefully.
