I was thinking about getting a dash kit for my black/black 98...with black leather interior

-how do you guys think a black chrome kit would look in my car?
-Has anyone had experience with this kit? because I want to make sure its good qualitly.
-If you dont like the black chrome dash kit...what other dash kits do you think would look good with my interior?

I also wanted to get a set of bluebatmobiles tinted overlays for our tails but i dont think hes selling them anymore...

I just want to make sure there good quality before i buy them..

ALSO..i want to change my gauge cluster lights...i kno the bulb size on 98's are #74..i want to put leds but i dont want there to be any hot spots..wat kind of leds have you guys used in your gauges and w.e other bulb is easy to change in the dash..

is the light around the ignition a #74bulb also? I kno my dads 5th gen is but i wasnt sure if mine was..

no input on the dash kit, except that it looks sweet!

I would crap some of these (or other color) to get your dash lighting going, uses a reverse lens it seems to the LED light floods equally

I just put the tinted tail light last night. man.. it was pain in the ***. Took about couple of hours for me to put all four piece on my tail light. For some reason the film wont stick. pissing me off. I would recommend buying the tinted spay can and tinted your tail light unless you don't want to mess up your tail than just purchase the film, like me . Below in my signature is the picture of my tinted tail light.

 

ill prob just end up purchasing the film...theres a liquid thats supposed to help the film stick...did you use anything?

 

has anyone used those leds from ebay? and how many bulbs does a 98 ccluster have?

I just need some input on the dash kits...and ill go ahead and purchase..im getting tired the way my dash looks

I don't know about these, but there are lots of sites with better deals on leds. I think some are sponsor/vendors, but just search this site for other options. I've seen them for like a few bucks for20packs or even better deals. Look other than ebay for parts.

 

those arnt actually dash pieces they are just stickers that cover your stock dash.

 

really? are there dash kits that actually replace the dash piece? I always thought it was something that stuck over the existing dash

 

Yeah im sure there are..but they are gunna be PRICEY. I think the black chrome looks pretty sick. id definatley get it but for the price id have to pass, so much more i could buy for 100$..

 

the dash kits look like crap. Leave it alone or paint it very well. Blue Batmobile is selling the overlays. Contact him. Gauges are #74 bulbs.

 

im in the process of buying the taillight covers too but gonna cut the lower half and only cover the red part and leave the bottom white.

 

why would you waste the money? If you want that the just nightshade them...
