Brake issues (not the pads)?
Today I picked up new pads and rear rotors. Due to the way my garage is I did the right rear and noticed the pads had ton of meat still so I changed the rotor. Old rotor was noticeably thinner due to ware. Then proceeded to check the front as I was painting calipers anyways and those were fine (New brembo rotors and raybestos last year).
Its getting a bit late as I started late. But just wondering whatelse could be wrong? Braking is not good at all right now (pedal is not stiff as it used to be). Mind you still have the left rear rotor to change. Does anyone have suggestions what else could be bad? If I change the left rear rotor and the e-light is still on and crappy braking persists, what else should I look into?
The only option I can thing is doing a bleeding of brakes. Can someone provide a quick write up on that? The link in the stickies is dead. But the thing is how would I get ride of the squeel from the rear and e-brake light. While I am going around I am re-greasing the slider pins and pad however.

The E-brake light should only come on when you are low on brake fluid,so check the brake fluid reservoir..If it is low, then you most likely have a leak somewhere. It is remotely possible that your e-brake light switch is bad, causing the light to stay on,but not likely.
Another possible scenario could be either a seized up caliper,or rusted slide pins causing your poor braking issue.

Well I worked on one rear caliper yesterday and the other today. Slider pins were good and I re-greased them, piston turned in on that caliper so I'll check the next one. I used a socket piston tool and it turned in with some effort.
Thanks for the link.
