Ksport/D2 BBK?

Does anyone here on the org have these? I've read up about them from other forums and people like them. However I've heard different things on who actually makes them. Supra, Mitusbishi, 240 forums say they were co-produced with AP racing. The NSX, RSX, Honda forums say they are just rebranded willwood brakes. So what do you guys think? Anyone else have any info on these kits?

I think they're crappola. I have no proof or experience to back that statement up, but 8-pot BBK's for under $2000 sounds like it's all in the piston number, a lot of hype.

They aren't any bigger than the average BBK (13" rotors and similar sized caliper), and the pistons are smaller than other kits, only there's 8 of them. If their quality is anything like D2 or K-Sport coilovers, I'd stay away.

They're definitely not Wilwood or AP- I can tell just by looking at them.
and given the history of the rest of Ksport and D2's products, I'd be leery of putting them on my car and relying on them to stop every time without fail.

They're 8 piston BBKs for cheap.

Not only are 8 pistons completely unnecessary, but the price means that they've skimped out. I'd pass if I were you.

Yeah I had a feeling they were crap, but it suprised me that Supra and NSX people were saying that they were co-developed with AP and re-branded willwood etc... I'll look elsewhere, anyone know which companies sell a rear bbk too?

there was a thread not too long ago about some company, maybe on page 2 now, and of course Matt up there has his BBK as well.

There are just as many morons on a Supra or NSX forum as there are on a Civic or Maxima forum. Just the Supra and NSX guys have a little bit more money

Just more posers who want to be able to tell people they have 8-piston calipers, so they try to justify them by saying that they're AP or Wilwood re-brands....when in fact they're just 8-piston garbage...

I agree with everything Matt said here.
