Clogged Injector/Misfire/Injectors Click Fine....

SO on my 92 GXE under 1500 RPM the engine feels like it misfire and the rpms drop about 60 or so rpms for a split second. when im creeping up in traffic it does this too. Above 1500 rpm its fine. The exhaust has a rumble to it too which seems to b caused by the engine misfire. The injectors are all clicking the same and i usually use 91 octane gas. So wat could my problem be? A clogged injector that still clicks fine? Timing off? Any ideas would be great.... Thanks..

Is a tune up too far out your price range also?

FYI,motor mounts are cheap compared to most other wearable parts that break on these cars.

If you are not willing to spend the money to repair parts that are broken, then why bother asking us what the problem is?

i had the car tuned up recently all thats fine, and i thought motor mounts were alot in labor, im just a kid who has to go to 8 classes of skoo then work everyday and i still dont have enough money to fix everything i want to on the car. i want to do what i can like when i got a replacement abs actuator and installed that, i know the motor mounts themselves are cheap but how bout labor for installing them? Im just glad i can use this site to get the info i need like during free time at skoo or tonight when im off until 8pm then i work til 1230am so i just wanted a solution so maybe i could spend my one day off tomorow toying around with the car.

Well,i can understand being short of cash, along with school/work..

I guess what I'm trying get through to you is motor mounts are not something to be left to do later, they are a very important part of the car.Bad mounts will destroy your cars drivetrain over time,so replace them asap..

alright i still dont know if theyre bad i mean theres no shaking or vibration except when the engine misses at idle. Is there any way to check if theyre bad? I guess just look at them and decide? How hard or much do you think it would be to get that done. And one more thing, u mentioned it could ruin the drivetrain and naturally i dont want that, but i have 164350 on my car and my transmission fluid is like a red or orange/kinda dark, but in the light it still shines red-ish... Do you think i should change it or wat? The trans doesnt shift to bad its actually fine except 1-2 can be felt when the cars cold. i just want to ensure it shifts for a while rather than leave the fluid to get bad, but then at the same time i dont want to change the fluid and have it not shift at all.... im just a noob so i gotta ask these ?'s now to get it out of the way... thanks though.

^^^^^^^^
Break it up like this so it's easier for us to read.

Truthfully, from your explanation of symptoms,it sounds like you have a bad injector. These run about $100 a piece new,or you might try to find a good used set in the classifieds section here.

Stay far away from rebuilt injectors, they tend to have a high failure rate.

But once again they all clicked the same so how can i check for sure which one it is?
Start car/pull each plug wire off it's spark plug/one at a time(plug each one back in before going to the next plug)/while carefully listening how the engine sounds with each plug wire off,if you find one that doesn't change the sound of the engine, then you have found your dead injector.

And how do you feel one changing the tranny fluid at 164k?
If it's red/clean,then leave it alone.
