big work day tomorrow
http://s164.photobucket.com/albums/u...for%209-29-07/
did some pre-setup and parts removal for poly-fill mounts, front exhaust stud replacement, radiator replacement, and hopefully trans cooler positioning adjustment.
already PB blasted the manifold nuts... took out rad fan.. um.. took out dual duct and intake piping. dual duct was a PITA to remove after the RTV sealant Aaron put on there. that stuff is TOUGH. I actually broke a plastic bracket trying to lever the thing off. no biggie.
there will be plenty of pictures if you're interested. Dunno if there will be any writeups that will be new from what i do... possibly the poly writeup officially on the Org.. but basically it's just a Smorgasbord of things i've been wanting to take care of.

new pics and videos. there's a subfolder.
more pics later.
Poly mounts: front is burned, filled, and curing. The rest are still OE.
Exhaust Studs: after much trouble and noobishness, I got the exhaust manifold off. I have new gaskets and studs to put in, but ran out of time to drill out the 2 broken studs. It's ok, i'm giving the Max a week break while the mount cures.
Radiator: no biggie. Old one is drained, and in the trash can. New one is... crap it's on my bed. Gotta go move it. Anyhow everything went fine there, i'm just leaving it out until i finish the exhaust stud job.
I didn't expect to accomplish so little today, but I've never done this much major work, especially at the same time.
