So I was cleaning the car yesterday and realized that my MSD rpm switch was no longer powered on. Wasnt sure why so looked over the wires and everything is plugged in. Then noticed that my DS heated seat switch doesn't light up. PS does. Nothing else is shot on power. What's the issue here? I don't think it was a fuse since only two things are off. My cig lighter still works. Problem wiring? Dead bulb in the seat switch? If it doesn't sound like wiring or fuses or whatnot I'll have to look for a new switch and see if that is the issue. The msd...idk. Opinions?

 

Check wiring and if possible try to connect the things that don't work on to a battery for a split second to see if they power on.

 

well if your seats still get warm, then its just a burnt out bulb.
as far as the msd, i'm not sure where it gets power from so i can't help there

 

well the msd is hooked up to the cig lighter. My ipod hooks up to the lighter as well but that works fine. I'm not really sure where to go with this.

 

i think it's just a coincidence that they dont work at the same time. I think you just have a bad bulb in the seat heater switch...

 

If the msd is connected to a cig liter... and ure ipod works then its your msd thats messed up.
