Strong vibration through manual shifter/ shift ****

Over the past few months I noticed that my shift ****/shifter are making a good amount of noise. I have a stock shifter with a Sola Luna shift ****. I'm supposed to have a TET PS shifter bushing installed, although I'm no longer sure of that since I found that bushing lying in my basement.

Basically, I notice the problem most when I'm cruising on the highway. If I'm cruising using no throttle, I hear a minor vibration. If I get on the throttle 10% the vibration goes away. Anything over 10% throttle and the noise gets a little louder. The actual shifting has remained fine during this time, but this vibration and noise are bothering me. I hear the noise mostly coming from the shift ****, although I assume the vibration that causes the noise comes from somewhere else.

Has anybody else ever heard of a problem like this? This tranny is about a year old, although I'm already hearing signs of the input shaft going bad (again). Could that have anything to do with it? What things should I check on or around the tranny/ shift linkage?

Hmm... my STS vibrates sometimes under hard acceleration or the first minute of driving. I do not know what your problem is, especially because you are using a stock shifter, but I am interested to see what the problem is.
