Would this look Ok in 96 maxima GXE?? or does this required to be TURBO to install it?? Tip is 5.5' and 3' inside.

The tip size should read 5.1" according to Apex. Yeah it would look fine, i have a hayame type 3 with a 5" tip and after a while, to me it seems to have gotten smaller..but that muffler was made for a turbo, hence the 3" inlet size, mine is 2.5". Could be installed in your car without a problem other than finding a place that can merge a 2" pipe to a 3" pipe.

 

Turbo mufflers are generally smaller than normally aspirated ones...turbochargers tend to reduce exhaust noise, hence a smaller muffler does the job.

I would definitely NOT get a turbo Dunk unless you want to be really loud and ricey. Wait to get ahold of a N/A Dunk.

 

get the universal apex'i dunk na muffler. that's what i have on order and will install after my max comes out the shop. turbo muffler is for turbo cars. buts since it's universal i don't see why it wouldn't fit on the max.
