ABS Troubleshooting - How do I get the actuator/control connector off?

I have a frustrating ABS issue I am trying to track down. ABS, TCS, SLIP lights came on (no SES light). I brought it to the stealership and they charged me $110 to "diagnose" it. They said the two front wheel speed sensors were bad and wanted $650 to fix it. I ordered the sensors myself and changed them both.

ABS still didn't work. I got hold of a factory service manual, and searched around on here to find how to troubleshoot it myself. I pulled the codes, and got 31 and 35 (left and right rear wheel speed sensors). Sounds absolutely crazy that these would go bad all at the same time making me think the sensors are not really the issue. I went through the troubleshooting steps in the FSM, and got to the part where they told me to disconnect the ABS actuator/control connector and test the resistance between some pins. I can't figure out how to get this connector off!

The actuator/control module is tucked down in a hard to reach nook and the connector is on the bottom of the black box. What is the trick to getting this thing off?

Thanks,
-Ken
