seanwn's '99 max

first off i'd like to thank the org, just for being great.

so i've owned this car about 6 months, and flew to southern california from utah to get it but until now i hadn't had time to really clean it. but this weekend i finally did, i clay barred it with the mother's kit, and then used mother's carnuba wax. i also hope to, this weekend put a coat of meguiar's nxt tech wax over it. i really wish i would've got some before shots though because i'm really pleased with the results. so anyways....

all i have done is 20% tint all around, and a jvc 7" cd/dvd headunit. but i've bought s-techs and hope after winter i'll have the money for shocks/struts and start engine modding. thanks and let me know what you think.

well i've got the s-techs already, but they're sitting under my bed. i've started doing electrical a few months ago so most my money is going to tools and such. but i'm hoping to next summer get the shocks/struts to lower it. then as far as cosmetic i wanna: read/clear and then tint tails, smoked turn signals, tint the corner lights, retro some projectors, and trenz grill. then performance: y-pipe, intake, and 00vi. and short throw shifter. so i got plans but it's the funds that are holding me up

What's the paint code? Looks the same as my max's color in a lot of the pictures then in others it looks too blue.

Looks real nice and clean though, keep it up!

ya know i actually started waxing before i clayed it because i was kinda skeptical and little hesitant to try claying. but after the fact i'm glad i decided to clay. it was easier to wax, the wax went farther, and i feel i got a much better end result due to the clay barring first.

wow thanks guys, i really appreciate the comments, i definitely expected more criticism. and don't worry, come spring after i get some other debts paid this max will begin to be modded

oh btw, i think i found the wheels i want when i get it dropped. this would be my first choice; konig imagine 7.5x18

also found these as a second choice; privat netz 8x18

let me know what you guys think. i'm personally a fan of the split spoke design, or whatever you wanna call it. but i'm not a real big fan of chrome, or black.

Whatever you get, go with 9 inches wide all around with a +38ish offset or 8s all around with +25, spacer in the rear for flushness. Around 10mm with rolled fenders. 245s or 235s
