Even Craig Liberman Couldn't Believe It

When I knocked down several ET corrected 14.3 and 14.4 runs and 98-99 MPH.

Anyways, we went to LACR this weekend and represented as MCC. After fixing my gas pedal issue that some people knew about, I was kinda of excited. I was hoping for a decent time, but my times were so nice. In a nutshell I have a plaque that says "2nd Place NIRA Finals 6 Cylinder Competition". I also got like $400 from NIRA and endorcements. All in all, a very nice day!

No OgreDave, you are boosted which makes you a power 6, which means you'd be running with a couple of twin turbo supras with T66 and T72 turbo's. Part of me wants to take this motor as far as I can natural now and run the entire NIRA circtui next year. I can do UDP, Clutch, Flywheel, Extrude Hone, slicks, any other ideas?

Forget the extrude hone and swap in the 5th gen intake manifold/collector. That gives an easy 10-20hp gain from 4000-7000rpm. Assuming you were able to get a higher rev limit or JWT ECU, you could finish the 1/4 in 3rd gear right at 6600-6700rpm. Your trapspeed should increase to around the 95-98mph range with bolt ons and the manifold. Hell if you were even more power hungry send some new billet cams to ISKY to get reground. It's not going to be cheap but hell you would get really close to NSX type power minus the VTEC .

I was under the assumption that the 5th gen manifold didn't work well on the 4th gen, but I could be wrong. What's the cost like on a job like that? Tell me more about the cams.
