5th and 6th Gen guys step in

So this is the first auto car that i have owned. Usally its easier to find shift ***** for stick shift cars. Ive looked at a lot of different shift ***** for autos and ive seen about 1000x MOMO ***** which look terrible. I think they try too hard with those *****. I like something simple. I was thinking about doing something like th IS300s.

See picture below

im not exactly sure how that would look but i havent seen it done on a maxima. Give me some other ideas guys.

Wow, not sure, would that even fit?

Ramberg has a grenade for his. I'm sure there are other options, just not sure how many are applicable to us. It will be a matter of taste.

I know ptatohead did something like that for his auto 4th gen. He made a leather boot and got a shift **** that fit for it, he also made it a "short throw".

I'm not familiar with 5th and 6th gen *****, but for my friends WRX we just bought a generic ****, spun the old one off and put the new one on. Very easy.

yeah what i wanted to do is maybe shorten the height if its too high then stick on a machined finished or aluminum finished ****. As far as the **** and its threads, i have a tap and dye set that i can use for the gear selector arm.

I don't know if it would fit, but I really like the AE auto shifter. Very classy IMO

These are nice and simple, I have one for my car and it comes with a universal thread fitting... so it will fit.

the only problem is that the autos are not threaded. i know most manuals are but i think the autos dont have threads. thanks for the link.

A shift **** is a shift ****, unless your stick and it has a better "grip" to it.

The stock shifter **** in my '02 looks fine to me. No reason to change it, IMO.

I think a nice auto shift **** (besides the IS300) would be a stock TSX. It's almost like a manual.
