New PB in the 1/4 mile -- 12.1@119.5 mph
I finally made it down to the 1/4 track in Alabama. I ran a new PB but I am really frustrated with launching my car. These 24.5x8 slicks are too small now, especially mounted on the stock 6.5" wide saw blades. I need some 26x8 mounted on 8 inch wide wheels. All the car does is spin. I cut many 1.7x 60 ft times on these slicks when I was N/A, but it just won't do it anymore. I was shooting for 11's, but it just wasn't gonna happen today.

I was hitting close to 9 psi at redline according to the log on the MAP sensor. I need to get some wheels and tires and put on this smaller pulley and I will be in the solid 11's.
Here is a really crappy video of my fastest pass yesterday, but it doesn't show the time.

Oh man niiiiice times. Man your good for EASY 11's with the same pulley, if you can somehow get that launch back on par. Don't you think dropping a pulley size will make it THAT much harder to catch a good launch?

Congrats! Those are some impressive trap speeds. It's tough to launch the car and expect good 60 foots when you now have so much more power. It's a completely different beast compared to NA. You'll find a way to get 1.7s again! It could have been poor track prep that day. It comes and goes for me.
I recently picked up some 15x8 wheels for my 22x8x15 MT slicks. I use to have them on 15x6 Millenia wheels. They should make a difference in traction. I haven't ran them yet.

Congrats Matt! You are so close. I think as soon as you turn the boost up and get the smaller wheels/better slicks you'll be running mid-low 11's!
What kind of weight reduction did you do?
I'm selling my SRT4. The previous owner did a real hack job on it and I'm tired of fixing all the damned boost leaks!

If the weather is good and my schedule works out I would like to go next Sunday the 16th. It is the last day on their schedule on the website and they were closed this past January and February so I want to get a run in just in case.
Did you get your clutch sorted out?

So far so good, but they should have replaced the clutch as well. It's held fine in heavy traffic, hopefully it will do the same at the track.
I ran the 13.285@107.19 with a 2,500 rpm launch and bog, due to the clutch pedal drop. I really hope to sneak in a 12.9 stock.
You should be in the 11's soon enough with that insane trap speed! I'll get back with you about Sunday. It may be too short a notice to take off from work, but who knows, I have worked a LOT of Saturdays for the Captain.
