Well its not my maxima but still a VQ
Only mods is exhaust with test pipes, AEM intakes (think its killing my performance), 4.083 final drive set, and BFG Drag Radials

I can finally say that my n/a Z can hit 12's

Nice man. I have been thinking about a z or g. Cant decide. I think the g looks so much better but i think the z is lighter. Congrats on your runs man.

thanks again! You max looks mean. Im very partial to the Z. I drove both the G coupe and sedan and it just didnt feel the same. The Z feels more like a drivers car! Just go test drive both and you decide what fits best for you.

Those are some good times but you should definately be running in the 12's back in August There was a Sentra same year as yours running mid 12's and trapping@ 112MPH at MIR.

Yeah, I know I should be in the mid 12's with my trap. My problem really is more of a clutch issue then a traction one. I need a better clutch because I am overpowering the one i have and slipping a little in every shift. With a stronger clutch (act xtreme pp and street disc) and slicks, I'll be looking for mid to low 12's.....

btw I have to get down to cecil, I always do very well there and seem to trap better then I do at Atco.

After driving a Mazda 626 V6 POS special edition for 3 years, my Maxima feels pretty quick bone stock!

I get it into the 13s eventually, I will be happy.

Oh yeah definitely! The VQ35DE is a torquey, fun, V6 car to drive. It shouldn't be too hard to get it in the 13s with bolt ons. You seem to have the right idea.

4.08 is stock for 240SX and NA Z32... but I don't think the guts of the R200 diffs will drop into an R230 that easily. ???

the gears are actually out of a 2005 Frontier 2x4 5spd. The 240sx ring and pinions are different sizes. Learned the hard way

Thats awesome, I plan on putting a VQ35DE in my s13 and I cant wait to see what it'll do with 500+ less pounds!

Congrads on the 12's though! Thats fast as heck for being so stock! I bet that things a riot to drive.
