I would say around $6500-$7000 without mods.
And unless you want to sell it here on the org regular people don't really care about mods.
So maybe like 8 or 9 grand I would say.

But that's just my opinion.

.
6,500-7,000

I seriously doubt someone would pay 8,000-9,000 from a private seller, esp with that many miles.

well that's what I was trying to say. most people won't pay for the mods.
and $6500-$7000 is the blue book value for it. Considering that it's in excellent condition and is a GLE. Is it a GLE?

Everyone here likes maximas, thats why we're all here.
He never said that he was looking for a new car, so your comment was uncalled for.
Just because you want a rwd turbo doesn't mean everyone else does.
I am very happy with my fwd n/a sedan and I would not turbo it, because it's a waste of money. Unless I would race it, but I won't.

Post if you have something useful to say, not just some cra*.

regardless of the mods, 160,000 miles is gonna kill any above bluebook price. id be asking like 6 for this car and gettin ready to negotiate.

i know it sucks and you probably have close to 9k invested in this thing, but the market doesnt really care about mods and therefore isnt gonna pay MUCH more than book value. in fact, mods tend to hurt the price of a car because the average person knows it is not 100% factory anymore. granted there are a couple of buyers that would pay you extra for the intake/springs, etc. but 9 outta 10 people woudlnt care.

im bored so i just did kelly blue book for an automatic 99 SE with 160k and it gave me between $5200-$6000.

Mods don't matter so much...sorry to tell you. I would say tops $6k, that's being generous also.

+1 I would offer even less being that it does not have the spoiler or sunroof, I'm partial to the SE. I would say maybe $4500 to $5300 tops due to the miles and the aforementioned non SE model.

There's a buyer out there for every type of car. If you're not planning on selling it any time soon then shouldn't worry about pricing. The value of any car drops with time. You might be better off selling parts of the caqr when the time comes. However, sometimes it proves to be more difficult to part out the car. Best thing to do is try to sell it with some of the mods, and see if anyone bites. Either way, most of your mods are cosmetic. I think more people would raise a brow if they see engine mods of sorts.

you should sell everything seperate as long as you have the stock items to reinstall. like i said before, the average person is not gonna care about exhausts, intakes, kits or anything else and therefore is not gonna pay you much more for them included with the car.

No leather, auto and 160K miles are the poor selling points. I wouldnt spend more than $4000 with 0 mods and maybe $5000 with some mods.

if you treat these cars right they will SOAR past 200k. i had a 3rd gen with 220+ and a 4th gen with 142k that ran like a champ. but, yes, most people dont know the reputation of maximas, and to them 160k seems like a lot.

if i was selling...this is what i would do......strip some mods off....springs, lip kit, intake etc.etc. turn back to oem. You can still get blue book value considering perfect condition except 2 dents, and high mileage. but get the most of the money that you put into the car buy individually selling some of the mods. OR you can just use it as collateral on the new GT-R and end up paying off the loan for the rest of your life!! thats just my opinion

I would say $6000 if you're lucky with or without the mods...everybody is right, not too many people outside the org care bout mods

mileage wise, 300+...the VQ just might be stronger than Chuck Norris!

k so i just got a newer altima. sold the max for $5700 and was asking about $6700 (mostly cuz i didnt want to completely lose my *** on it). my max was nice and clean but didnt have near the mods you have and was a 98 GLE. it was pearl white with black leather and no blemishes inside and just one bad dent on the front fender above the light. had cefiroes but just halogens (that were constantly mistaken for HIDs) had 5% tint all around and CE y with a flowmaster 40 and i took the 20s off. i sold for that much because i already had purchased the new car and just needed to get rid of it. only had it posted 3 weeks and could have possibly gotten more if i had waited. one guy at my work said he would have given me 6 flat. so i think that given your miles compared to my 120k and the rest of your car. you should maybe just make it more buyer friendly and it will actually be worth more to the average buyer. here leave it and hope someone is actually interested. but i would remove your wheels. maybe make your tint legal, if you can peel the tint on your tails do that - mine was just vinyl overlay.maybe remove the stillen kit and sell it here - you won't see a difference on the price of your car, but you will sell a painted kit in a minute here. i'd say post it at $7000 and don't over list your mods. if they ask tell them.the reason for this is the avg buyer doesn't want a car that some "punk" kid messed with and may potentially have problems. they don't know that owning a maxima is a disease and you take better care of your car than your girlfriend. so i'm just saying make it buyer friendly

another thing is the only one who would care about the mods would be someone from here or a young guy that is looking for a good car to buy striaght off. only prob with that is if he doesn't have money (which is the reason he's buyin a max) he will have to get a loan, and most banks will not lend over the high blue book. so consider what you can get money out of in a part out situation here and sell it as a more avg looking car and i don't think you will have a problem getting at least $6500.

At least another 160K if you do the proper maintainence.

And to answer the question,

"How much could I get for my car?"

Only what someone is willing to pay for it.

Without a doubt, unless someone makes you a nice offer on the car as is. Most people that do not part just do not have the time or want to deal with selling things. You have to decide if that extra $1000 or so is worth taking the time to part some items.
