how to bypass the video thing on a clarion VRX765VD

well finally i foud a brand new indahs touch screen for under $450 was $421 w/ 3yr warranty, theres only one wire to hook to the (-) on the e brake so will it be fine if i directly ground the wire or do i have to do it using a switch

ground

attach the wire to a metal part of your car... usually called grounding any steel post will work
