Does anyone have open ended lug nuts?

I want to get new lug nuts. Does anyone have any experience with open ended lug nuts. Being that they're open, do they cause the stud to rust?

Any input would help, thanks.

Yes, they do cause the studs to rust. I hated that they did that. I went back to close ended lug nuts.

yep, 100%. closed looks weight better because of that. and plus you can paint the lug nuts if it suits your fancy.

Also you can use lug nut anti seize on them and that will prevent them from rusting. It also makes it alot easier to take off later.

I have open lug nuts on my 3rd gen and my 240sx and they really don't have a problem.

Aren't there certain autox or road courses that require open nuts?

I've never noticed a correlation between rust and open ended lugs, but I also live in a relatively rust free area.
