anyone ever needed to find lower control arms?

i've posted on the wanted forums with no real help. i was wondering if anyone here has ordered brand new lower control arms and where did you get them? i figured finding info from here was better than a random google search as i'm trying to help a friend who damaged his suspension. thanks.

I've got a driver side LCA in my garage that is new and in the plastic bag still that I am looking to sell for 75.00 I originally bought it thinking I needed to replace the driver side, but didn't need it once my swaybay bushings got replaced.

New LCA vs new bushings

Hey, both my lower control arm bushings are out on my 1995 maxima.

I'm debating on either replacing just the bushings or the whole control arm.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

My dad told me that replacing the bushings are a PITA. I guess you have to take them to a machine shop to have them pressed on. Which cost $50-75 alone.

Also, how are the websites listed above as far as price and quality of their product.

This car is an everyday driver. Just trying to make it last till I get out of school...which is 2011

the bushing on my passenger side LCA is gone you could see the chunks of rubber just hanging out but this is due to an oil leak that i have on the left side of the engine got to take care of that. looks like the timing chain cover is the problem.

Ebay about 50 bucks new (Made in China). I have it installed in my passenger side. I've been driving on it for a few thousand miles and so far I don't notice any difference. But I'd have to say that the quality of the rubber cover on the ball joint isn't the best quality.

I too purchase LCA's on Ebay, probably not the best qualtiy but they do the job! I believe I spent $90 total for both including ball joints.

Nooooo I've seen some horror stories about those...They rust and fall apart...I would not trust my life with those, LCAs are kind of important lol.

I'll try to find a that thread...........

Yeah, I agree. LCA are pretty important part of the car.

I guess I'll look into getting the OEM part.

Thanks for the input!
