FOR A 96 MAX . Which produces the best results? tape intructions or candy apple red spray painted

I'd say paint is the way to go.. but overlays are good if you want to be able to remove them.

i say paint also do a couple coats then a clear coat or 2 over the whole tail light that should make it look really good and a very well done and clean finish. but you wont be able to go back

Yeah and all of the 6gen Gen Maxima's are illegaly driving in Cali.
