FYI --> Blinking Air Bag light
Hi
I posted a question a while back about a blinking Air bag light. Thanks for everybodys input.
Turns out it was a clock spring. The Air Bag light was first then the horn & cruise went.
Just thought I would let those know who might have had a similar problem.

I had the same problem with my Caravan. First I noticed that the cruise control wasn't working. I checked through all the fuses, but didn't find any problem, so I figured that it was a bad switch or something. Before I got a chance to dig any further into that, the air bag light started flickering on once in a while when I was turning the steering wheel. Just by the way it responded to the wheel position, I knew that it was the clock spring, and that also explained the cruise control not working. Luckily, there was a recall on the Caravan for the clock spring, so I was able to get it fixed by the dealership for free.
how was the process of aligning the spiral cable? it the haynes manuel it says 2.5 turns from the right and line up the 2 arrows. im not clear on what they mean by saying 2.5 turns from the right to left. do they mean with the spiral cable lined straight horizontally and go 2.5 turns to the left from there? any info will help.
