You have to make a board to hold them unless you want to do all the crazy wiring yourself.

If you can't do that yourself, buy 'em from someone else. IIRC MetalMaxima made a few boards for the dome and map lights, but those are long gone. Your best bet for taillights would be to get them from A32shop.com or Blackonblack98 (owner and operator of the site) when they come out. Just note that they won't come cheap....

OR you can seach the forums and there you should find all the info you need on putting LED's in the dash and tail lights. FYI, Kevlo also makes them.

Kevlo doesn't make them anymore. He stopped that earlier this year due to "cheapness" of modders. LED tails don't come cheap...

I also am making them for people. You need to do a lot of research if you plan on making them yourself. There are no write-ups on the tails.

If you don't want to do soldering and just want a plug and play bulb go to www.superbrightleds.com I used blue inverted 194 bulbs, and did the gauges, door lights, light by shifter, glove box and trunk. also did the dome light with a festoon bulb.

yah i agree the light would only be coming out of those 16 bulbs and wouldn't illuminate the taillights much. Wouldn't be a good idea imo.

I'm merely curious, you really don't know what they will actually look like once installed.

I just don't want to be the guinea pig.

i had some like that in my pickup, they were blacked out altezas and they didn't look like regular bulbs, they of course flashed like the led's and were about 100% brighter, they also looked like they do in the picture when they are on, not round light bulbs, i think they looked pretty good!
