Hi Guys, I tired searching, but the Search function is not working.

Has anyone replaced the EGR valve? My CEL just kicked on and the code is for the EGR. I was told that you can run pressurized air through the line and try and clear out the obstruction or just replace it. Any thought or how-to's for this job? Thanks

Thanks Pmohr. To answer your question, the reason I bumped was because after 2 hrs my post was already on page 2 with 12 or so views and not a single hit. Since I wanted to see if I could get an answer I bumped it back to page 1 where it would get the most # of views.

About the search function on the website, well bud your membership to Maxima.org must give you some special Search capabilities because it does not work for me. I tried searching for "EGR", "EGR Valve", "EGR valve replacement" and not a thing came back and that was yesterday, today, same thing. I appreciate your searching and posting the links because I found exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again
