oem headlight confusion

so i think this soundsa dumb but a while back i turned off my headlights and accidentally put them on high beam when they were off anyway i changed out the left light bulb and when i turned them on one was on high and the other on low ive been trying all sorts of combos and none of them seem to work so that both will be on low beam is it possible to fix it by buying new bulbs?

1) Maybe the connector was not installed properly? Make sure the position of the connecter is the same for both sides. 2) Make sure that the bulb you purchased is the correct specification for your car. 3) Buy another bulb of the same type, usually if one goes out the other one will probably also go out soon.

the bulb is likely incorrect. it happens. the filaments are likely switched in the bulb you got.
