The Eibachs were fun, but it's time to slam this thing and put the camber plates to the test.

1)Which one lowers more and what are their numbers

2)Which ones are progressive, linear, etc?

3)The Intrax are going for about $179 plus shipping, what's the going rate for Sprints

4)If the drop between the two are minimum, which ones are the better performance. I'm not too concern about any bumpy ride.

Thanks

I was planning on selling the Eibachs just to help off-set the price of the new springs, but if that's the going rate for Sprint springs I might end up keeping the Eibachs incase there's any adverse effects like rubbing, etc. since I'm rolling with 235-45-17's

hay mike, what do u think about specialty product camber bolts? i have them but havent had time to install them yet, but do u think they will do the job of correcting the camber same as your camber plates?

i would like to buy camber plates from you but i for 275 dollars i really dont have the money to spend like that

talk to u later

hehe yah my rims on my car are unusally in good condition, well one time, i slammed a curb with my rim going about 30, so i scuffed one of them really bad, but when i got a new tire for that rim, discount tire co. filed down the edge of the rim.. making it look like i never even hit a curb.. i didnt even know they did that for me until i was cleaning my car

i dont know any place that really does something like that i just kept my rims in good condition using mothers mag/wheel polish

Don't forget that's $275 ship to your door
Anyway, some will say your alignment will still be within specs when using Eibachs, Intrax, Sprints, etc. springs which is probably true. There are many factors that can contribute to "your" car (or others) being within alignment specs like condition of springs, rubber mounts, tire size, etc. We designed these plates to put your car suspension back to OEM specs regardless of condition listed above. Also for those who want the best wear pattern out of their tires regardless of which suspension you're rolling with. For those with "slight" chassis damage these plates will help because it also adjust caster along with camber. I can tell you from experience, the minute I rolled of the alignment rack after installing the plates the difference is noticeable. Of course it sounds like I'm trying to sell, but you will make the final choice. The camber bolts are alot less than my plates due to that production cost thing and they have worked for many others. I'm kinda cautious when it comes to replacing a critical suspension bolt with a smaller diameter bolt, there's that sale pitch again. So in closing, of course the camber bolts will work along with my plates. But if you can't afford the plates get the bolts, they both do the same thing but in different manner.

Sprint is lower & progressive
Intrax seems to make the back sag a little while the sprints lower the front a little more, so whatever floats your boat, i have to say i got sprints for $145 shipped to my door and they ride very nice......even with stock struts, im more then happy

It looks as if Sprints are going to be the winner, now it's time to shop around. Besides there's a new performance company starting up in TN, called Siege Industry (423)461-3313 and the owner did me a favor so I might give him the sale. You guys might start hearing me reccommend this place in the future because the owner a reputable/honest guy. Besides he's a member of the board along with other owners on the board.

if i could, i would get the sprints in the front and the intrax in the rear. (if they sag more than the sprints) because the sprints in the rear just drop it very lil , i only have a 2 finger wheel gap with sprints , when i put subs in my trunk i have about a 2 finger wheel gap too. so the subs dont do much even tho they wiegh like 200 pounds.. =\

Does your car bounce somewhat with the stock struts?. I have basically the same set up as you and my car bounces when i hit a "New york city" bump.

well yea any aftermarket spring will have somewhat of a harshness when going over bumps i dont have that bad of a ride at all , i mean i have to put up with weird noises every now and then cause my struts are blown but It was better then i thought it was gonna be.

Jim90GXE, speaking of NYC bumps how is the clearance with your Sprint and the Stillen front piece because that would be my only concern. With the Eibachs and the full body kit jacking up the car with a floor jack (not the spare jack) is just making it. Depending on size of the floor jack I have to lift the fender a little to clear the body kit, but after installing the Sprints it will be a hole different story.

I must say I've been surprised that they have cleared every bump.. no problems at all. Drive ways are a different story though.
To jack up the car I first use the spare jack, then the floor jack and then jack stands.

That's exactly what I figured, with driveways and jacking up the car. With the Eibachs I can pull into any average parking stall without fear of the front piece hitting the stump, those days will be over. Now I have to pay attention to my stoping distance.

MadMax if you do sell your eibachs, how much would you be asking?
To be honest I haven't decided on a price for the Eibachs. I have to drive with the new springs for a few weeks to see what the daily drive feels like. My main concern is body kit clearance which shouldn't be a problem, but also chassis clearance. Will my 235-45-17 rub? If there's any adverse effect with the new springs, those will be for sale instead of the old ones.

well, if you do sell them, i've got first dibs. i'm looking for eibachs but i dont want to pay retail and the fact of them being used doesnt really bother me.
also, i like how you said "a few weeks" because its going to be about how long it'll take for me to have the money. stupid fuel pump:grr:
let me know

P.S. my two cents: dont get intrax because the rear end sags, i hate that. and sprints are cheaper.

The bottom of my lip is all scraped up, no biggie though, you can't notice it unless the car is up on a jack. I've got the sprints too, and ocassionaly I will rub when I corner hard. Last I heard, the sprints are on national backorder, but I might be wrong.
