new suspension

Yeah yeah...
SO i have ksports... i wanna get rid of them...i like the hieght my car is at...but i hate the noise...i havnt had a problem with the CO's yet...well i did but Ksport took care of me..and it wasnt to serious...
anyways..i have had the ebiachs with illumnas...but it wasnt low enough with those.
Any one have any suggestions..i love the stiffness to a certain extant of the CO's.....but a compromise as far as ride and hight... between some eibachs and ksports would be fine as well...
any suggestions..?

From what ive heard, S techs are supposed to be one of the worst rides comfort wise and H techs the best.

However, i switched from Hs to Ss because i wanted the bigger drop and i think the quality is fine.

you will need new mounts for the tein basics (or any spring/shock combo) if you don't have you old ones.

basics are a good choice, or jic's if money isn't an issue.

If you want more of a drop than Eibachs, you need coilovers, period. Any off-the-shelf spring-and-damper setup with that much of a drop will leave you with practically no suspension travel, and you'll be practically riding on the bumpstops. That's extremely uncomfortable and bad for your car.

What kind of noise are you getting? How do you know it's the coilovers, or that getting a different setup will fix it?

well its the normal Ksport CO clicks...mostly just when i turn the wheels from right to left...
sounds like the springs are moving...i got the noise reduction kit from ksport...but they still click after a few months...

seems to be a pretty common issue with k-sports.

There's a 90% chance that a hammer will fix those clicks. Use it on the collar wrench to tighten down the collars that lock the lower mounts in place.

Not just tapping, right? You have to hit pretty hard.
