I have a 1999 Maxima ES 5-speed that has the ~120k miles on the original LSD transmission (and original clutch). Well, the clutch is wearing out, and I'm debating selling the car, but received a suggestion to effectively swap transmissions with someone else who really wants the LSD, since the transmission will already be removed from the car. This is obviously an odd deal, but I'm really flexible in terms of timing and not having a car for awhile (I take public transportation to work). I have no idea where to price something like this, but if anyone does, feel free to post or PM me. Since I have to put a price out there to keep the mods from iceing me, let's say $1,000 OR BEST OFFER (and I'm really flexible on the offer).

Just thought I would put it out there, as I don't drive the Maxima too much anymore, and thought someone else might enjoy the LSD a little more than me! Thanks!

Man me too i have a open diff tranny that just came out sitting here and would love to have a spare lsd .

 

i thought all maximas were open dif? i musta thought wrong

 

the 99 maximas r open dif but the canadian maximas are lsd unless he changed tranny nd all
