I would start here if you have never done a retro.http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/view...2389ed745a1987
The tls are huge in sie but teh best bixenon. The tsx is a single xenon so no highbeams. Also if you are going to do a retro you need to get rid of the 96 housings and get some true clear ones also. Do a lil more reading before attemping this that way you dont waste your money and time.

definitely take a look at theretrofitsource.com . Matt is a great guy and he will send you in the right direction. I have ordered parts from him on a few occasions. Great service and products. I personally have done two retrofits: a dual bixenon retro as well as a single bixenon retro into my 99 max. If you have any questions pm me.

from what i've heard, prices and service are much more reasonable here than at hidplanet. also at theretrofitsource.com, they have forums as well as detailed instructions on retrofits. also check the projector retrofit section under how-tos on vqpower.com.

If you are looking for the best output out there then TSXs are a good starting point. I'm currently working on retro'ing modified FX35/45 bixenons which will have the same if not better output than modified TSXs once I'm done. There are many ways you can modify projectors to get better output from them as as 2themax99 said http://www.theretrofitsource.com is a good starting point if you are going to try and attempt this on your own (check out the forum LOTS of pics and tips). Also if you want to see more pics of projector output or don't want to tackle the retrofit yourself here is another site to hit up http://www.customlightz.com/
