on my 6spd 5.5 gen, I have been able to get as good as 33.6 mpg (7.0 L/100km) staying close to 60MPH on the highway with only me in the car. in the city if I drive really passively, the best I can do is 21.4 mpg (11 L/100km).

but on average, if I don't go to crazy, it's about 18-19mpg in the city and 28-29mpg on the highway.

the only mod I have that could affect the gas mileage is a K&N filter.

i wish i can get 320 mpg lol the best i've ever ever gotten was 20mpg and that's with like 75% hwy driving. worst i've had was 15'ish mpg with mostly city driving. i average 16-17 mpg tho. my mechanic says my mpg is about right since i have like almost 110k miles now and nissan's v6 aren't exactly good on gas like toyotas are. i don't care anymore i'll be getting a 4cyl car sometime this year lol

For the most part I don't really support flaming people for thread topics, but the MPG topic is unreal. There are threads all over the place, one right next to this one... and what's worse... they are ALL the same.

MPG thread formula:

Some Turkey asks about MPG.

Mr. Braggart insists he gets over 30 MPG in his 6 spd
Mr. Worrywart complains he can't see better than 15/16/18 mpg
(none of them know how to calculate accurate average MPG for CAR (not just a trip/tank/whatever)

pages of post whoring/useless persue.

Either way, I get 22/25 city/highway in an 02 HLSD 6spd.

Jacksonville FL I do have to say even on regular streets ppl here drive atleast 10 over (its sad)

I lived for 4 yrs in Philly when I went to Drexel for my Masters. Lived of pine st. and I know how slow driving around there was. I'm sure in true city driving my mpg would drastically drop!
