Does Resetting Your ECU Reset MPG,Radio settings ect?

I trying to do the ECU reset but can't tell if I did it right because I have engine codes that I haven't fixed quite yet. So they come back anyway.

If I got it right would it reset my trip/mpg and that other jazz?

If you do it right the light will disappear....the reason it comes back on is because you haven't fixed the problem yet.

Ok thanks! I think I got it, because my two O2 codes went away and I got a new code for the fuel level.

Maybe someone can chime in so i don't have to start a new thread. Is there a way to get the DTE to come back on the cluster? Is it programmed through the oem radio? If so my question is answered since i put in a Pioneer head unit. Thanks.

The fuel sensor level codes is the problem since you indicated that you're trying to reset the DTE, you have either one of two possible problem, A, your fuel sending unit is out of whack which is not registering correctly how much gas you gauge on the cluster telling you or B, your cluster is the issue. There's a post about this those who have a 2002/2003 Gen have a issue with it.
