New Suspension
New Suspension
I'm getting all my new suspension parts put on tomorrow. New lca, inner & outer
tie rod ends, front and rear struts, ball joints, and sway bar end links and last but not least rear disk brake conversion. Its to cold outside to do the work myself so I'm having my mechanic do it. Do you guys think $500 is a fair price for all that work.

Yea dude 500 for all that is not bad at all considering he should take over 5-6 hours doing it all himself unless he's got an assistant but still cheap. Rear disc swap FTMFW! You'll love your brakes once done if they work properly lol
I'd say either tough up the weather (like I can talk lol) or just wait till it gets warm. 500 bucks is pretty good considering all the work he has to go through, but think of what you can do with the extra 500? Me personally, I like to go through with things myself just in case. That way, if anything goes wrong I can only blame myself and not have to deal with arguing with a mechanic. Also, you'll love how much better the car brakes with a rear disc swap, a lot less nose dive.
The disc brakes are from my parts car so I know there good. New calipers, rotors and pads about 5,000 miles ago.
i can't wait. i hate driving anywhere much these days for my car's condition. i just need a spare car to drive so i can REALLY dig into the maxima and REALLY fix everything. but i'm basically going to do everything maxteca did. getting the rear struts/discs this weekend. replacing the rotors and pads right away as well b/c the ones on the JY car are rusted too much.

I don't like turning rotors, it makes them easier to warp. And they could have been worn down a lot already, plus how far the rust has penetrate. Rear rotors are pretty cheap too. Hes got enough money to get some rotors any way.
Get the PS rack fixed first though...
