on my new setup. Oh well, I wanted it anyways and this was the best time to get it. So right at $400 later, I think I'm good power wise.

What are the benefits of having a battery setup this extensive?

You have one of the cleanest 03 TE's here. How does that x50 work with the reflective tint? I am changing the crappy 35% to a 15% silver reflective.

It's mainly all in preparation for the system install that I will be putting in. Most of this also for the BIG 3, and if I'm going to spend money on a setup like this, I might as well do it right and with the "best" components. (Stinger is overpriced sometimes). The digital terminal was for a little show, and for me to monitor voltage drop throughout the system when all the audio is finally completed. The Oval 0 gauge lines are to replace the battery cables to a thicker gauge and for better performance.

Thanks mang. I actually have the original, not the X50. No issues with tint at all. Still works great for the years I've had it.

why didnt you just get the battery local? even with discounts online the shipping on it had to make it the same if not close to retail...

172.00 shipped, no taxes or shipping from, www.1st-optima-batteries.com. Online has been the best deals for most anything I purchase for my car. Seen it over $200.00 locally, and I can wait a few days for it.

I took it off the market the 1st week in January. I really didn't want to sell it in the first place, was going to cause I wanted to get the G37 Coupe. Didn't find it feasible afterwards with the room I need for a car currently, and price wise. I decided to keep this around whether I get something else or not.

I've already admitted that, but for my needs it's also functional. Have you seen the rest of my car? A majority of my mods serve some sort of purpose, either aesthetic or otherwise. I'll start to care how you view it when you start making my car payments.

I know, thanks.

I recommend that site to anyone looking for any series in the Optima Lineup. Free shipping over 100.00 and the prices are low as it is. I was going to get the Red Top D34 or D35 (something like that) for 146.00 Shipped.

You're probably better off buying it locally. I got my red top from sears for $160 and it comes with 3 year free replacement. Its much easier to take it back if it had any problems. Shipping back something as heavy as a battery is expensive not to mention the down time.

You're right, I could have bought it locally. I can wait on the downtime, and I'm close to positive the model you bought would be cheaper from that site. I've purchase 3 Optimas in recent years online, and they are good products. I haven't had to ship one back for anything. But, to stand by your point, I would have bought locally if time was a factor, and paid a little more for the convenience part only.

You are in luck. Finally got everything in today, however it's still raining and 30 sum degrees outside. I'm going to borrow a friend's garage in the next day or so to do the install. Stay tuned.

Nice products and nice price. I'm envious b/c I can't fit a yellow top in my car (the battery cables are too short). I just stuck with a Diehard gold (even the Diehard platinum wouldn't fit in my car b/c of the terminals).

Should look nice and clean when you install.

Ok, so a few of you have been asking for pics and the progress. Instead of creating a new thread here in the Audio Section, I created one in the 5th gen forum since there were many inquires there also for the Big 3 Upgrade.

At anyrate, without further a-due. Pics included.
