How much power do I need to add to....Read on

To compensate for a 300-350 pound added weight to my car. Basically all the sound deadening and etc. slowed it down a bit. The total weight added with the stereo and everything is about 350. How much power at the wheels would I need to make my Max fast as a stock one again? Will just a Y-pipe do it?

hmmm, that's a difficult question to answer accurately. I think a Y-pipe would get you back to stock, and maybe then some. I'm just guessing, though.

I would say the UDP will even you back out for sure, if not a tad more.

I would say get a Y-Pipe, they are suppose to give you an estimated 12hp, so that should even it out.

I read somewhere that you aren't supposed to get the pulleys if you have a system.

And cost alot more.

I have done some research on a UDP. If you have a system that is like over 1000 watts, then you might have a problem. That's what I've heard.
