6k and a black leather interior later and its a great car, no engine bay pics for now, and its too cold to take them...

 

Trim piece removal!?

 

well that pic is 6-7 months old, the pass side trim is off but some adhesive junk is still stuck on there, too cold to finish it... , but i might paint it and put it back on, it does protect the doors from mishaps in parking lots and what not..

BTW...Nice engine pic, Goon! I like! In fact, I want to have my engine pulled and rebuilt (a year or more down the road) just to clean it up, put in fresh seals and rubber everywhere and make it the beast it was the day it drove off the lot (not that it isn't already). This would take place after I graduate (spring) and the Maxima yields its daily driver status to the GTO I plan to buy. Maybe I'll even add a turbo at that time...

oh definitely. I have a complete cosmetic overhaul coming in the spring. Saving up the funds, so the sooner i have the cash, the quicker it gets done. I definitely dont cheap out on my car. I just wait until i get the money to do it right the first time.

 

if you were referring to me, Im dropped on B&G springs and tokico "blues". I need to get some new tires as well. Right now i have 235 50 17s on there. Rubs like a ****, especially the rear and NY roads arent much help as well.

not final, still smoothing out my pipe welds and needs some paint on them, also minimized the vaccum hoses to a minunim

It's the intake manifold,they are sloped..

 

In the next few months everything is going to get redone in the turbo department.

and it is strange but all the 2nd gen manifolds except for the pathfinder manifold is sloped

and i think it looks more like a pack rats nest than spegetti lol!

What IM is that on the right?

 

Off a Pathfinders VG30E but it looks similar to the Quest's as well.

 

It looks much more superior to the maxima vg30e IM...

I wonder why I haven't seen this before. Maybe I have, but I forgot about it.

Shoe shaped plenum looks decent for boost.

 

There have been a few threads over the years on people claiming to doing this and never end up test fitting as they say they would so thats why everyone gets mad..someone in particular is coming back to mind, some (IIRC) backandblackj30 JDM tyte wanna be ricer.

This is just a pic comparing the IMs side by side, nothing more, for now anyway

 

oh yeah, that was a fresh and happening guy
