Really interested in seeing how the pathy fits in the 3rd gen. Keep us posted, or make a post when you make a breakthrough.

Well considering Chicago's speed limit is 30mph and I DO drive the speed limit, going 143 ONCE wont really change that average much with all those miles piled on.

Oh an also keep in mind that Chicago has a pupolation of 8 million and has plenty of traffic. sometimes you cant always get to go the speed limit. That speed was done on bumble **** roads far from the city. 27 mph is my average due to traffic brian can vouch for me on that.

my van averages 14mph, along with 14 mpg. there is a road by my house with a 40mph speed limit but more realistically sees 60mph and we use it all the time. averages take into account the time you spend slowing down and speeding up, not just constant speed.

I've probably gone 143 in my max out here on the country roads of Indiana. I wouldn't do it again though...my motor doesn't like it and I have a feeling that it's the next thing to go on the car.... since I've fixed or replaced literally every other major part on the car thus far.

I'm excited for the day it happens though....then it'll be time for the turbo!! yesss

Either way, I've still got styling mods left to do! Don't die on me now, baby!

my VG was pulling decently from 120 back in july... but lately it's having hard times topping 115. dunno why. probably the stupid transmission. oh well. it's about to get taken out anyways. but the VG is staying in. Will add a turbo within 5 years if the car is still in one piece..

Thanks goon, the credit on the head lights goes to TripleG. I just touched them up a little bit and took a few hours to fit them to my car.

I've buried the speedo after swapping in a 145mph gauge and w/o engine mods.
I don't have any real current pics.. The whole front end is being tore apart here's the most recent.

Well I went to the JY and bought a quest intake, Turns out it sit EXACTLY the same height as the pathy one I have(Specifically from a 98 Infinity QX4 with a vg33e). I'm just going to use the pathy one because it has a bigger tb.
been out the vg loop, but this is lookin good man.

and yeah those are my old lights....miss my VG

more crude TLC for my GXE.

installed and wired a spoiler. kinda warped so one side pulled away from the dlue slightly... aaaand some idiot put pinstripes on the spoiler which i will be working to remove.. plus they painted it flat-beige on the top, so it's not pearly anymore. WHATEVER. still a spoiler. (that's my friend in the pic.. not me)

also, other pics of other stuff i've done lately.

swapping in UNDAMAGED SE centerpiece to replace my damaged taped-on centerpiece... to be topped off with chrome emblem from late-model 4th gen.

sawblades w/ good tread on the tires

SE gauges with blue 194s behind them.

keep in mind they are a LITTLE bit more toward the teal side IRL. LEDs provide a true blue color, but these are pretty close to it. and the dark/light is caused by the shadow of the dash pod while i had a map light on when i took the picture. but i did that on purpose for all the non-Maxima people so they can see day and night in one picture.

Unless the pic color is off, that looks almost identical to my HU color. Then all I would have to do is put some leds in the switches and somehow change the color of my clock.

I understand about the non-Maxima peeps. Almost anyone that sees my cluster want to know how hard it was to make my gauges go from white to black. I just laugh.

Those gauges look really good. I am going to swap out my GXE gauges for SE's. Not happy with the 125 MPH gauges. Plus the white face looks tight on the SE.

i like it but sometimes they are a bit dimmer than i'd like. the bulbs are tinted blue, so i think some light output is lost due to that, over plain clear-glass bulbs.

I wish it would turn the tb forward like the ve manifold, but even with a 90 bend in there, there will be ALOT less bends then the stock manifold for sure.

Thats awesome! Looks like plenty of clearance for real (top feed) injectors. Id do this swap just to use junkyard 240sx injectors and not have our stock injectors failing anymore. ><

Vary interesting though! Other then the distributor cap looks like you had to swap around the valve covers. Anything else youve had to change around?

Havn't gotten too far in it, only got the motor set in place yesterday. So far I know the heater hoses and vacuum system need to be re routed. As well as the stock aicv valve need an adapter plate to make it idle right. I read about z31 guys using the pathy aicv to work. But I can't figure it out because our aicv creates a variable flow, where the pathy one is just a on and off soliond.
